Access to Fresh headed back to the Lacoochee Boys & Girls Club to share some delicious fresh produce and nutrition education! We sampled carambola (starfruit—aka “Five Finger,” as one of the staff taught us) and fresh-picked strawberries! ⭐️🍓 Senior Club Director Eunique Byrd led the way in trying something new!!
INFLUENCE. EXPOSURE. ACCESS. is magic when it comes to getting kids (or anyone) to try new fruits and veggies!
Each family also received $10 to shop our Bounty Bus market, thanks to our partnership with AdventHealth West Florida Dade City.
