🌱 My Power Pack: Powered by Produce. Picked by You. 🌱
Access to Fresh is on the move — and so is a brand-new opportunity for kids, families, and neighbors to learn, shop, and grow together.
Starting Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the Bounty Bus will kick off its new program at the Boys & Girls Club of Lacoochee, located at 38724 Mudcat Grant Blvd, Dade City, FL 33523. The Bus will stop the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, bringing fresh, local produce and fun, hands-on learning right to the heart of the community.
We’re calling this new initiative My Power Pack — Powered by Produce. Picked by You.
Because every child deserves the power to make healthy choices and discover where their food comes from.
For the Kids at the Boys & Girls Club, each visit includes:
$10 in produce dollars for every child to shop the Bounty Bus and choose their own fruits and vegetables.
Physical activity and learning time — a 10–15 minute movement session followed by a 5–10 minute produce spotlight lesson.
Tastings and new discoveries featuring local, in-season produce using American Heart Association and Fresh From Florida resources.
Garden tours and community connection, giving kids a firsthand look at how food grows and why fresh matters.
This program helps ensure every child has the chance to learn, choose, and grow — literally.
For the Community:
Neighbors are encouraged to join in at the same time!
While the kids explore, you can shop the Bounty Bus for fresh, local fruits and vegetables — just steps away.
All payment types are accepted — cash, card, and SNAP/EBT. Plus, when you use SNAP, you receive free produce!
So bring your family, tell your neighbors, and come experience what it means to be Powered by Produce — together.
We’re proud to launch My Power Pack in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Lacoochee, and we can’t wait to see the smiles as kids and community members fill their bags with local goodness, connection, and pride.
So, mark your calendars: The Bounty Bus starts rolling October 15, 2025!
Come shop local, get moving, tour the garden, and experience the power of fresh food — right in your neighborhood.
