Celebrating 10 Years of Impact at the Boys & Girls Club

I had the privilege of joining an incredible local milestone—the 10 Year Anniversary Celebration at the Lewis Abraham Boys & Girls Club of Lacoochee in Dade City. There was such positive energy in the room, filled with local and state representatives, community champions, and my Leadership Pasco classmates. It was a true reminder of what’s possible when we come together with a shared vision: building transformative projects that change lives.

Hearing Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson’s keynote was a highlight. His personal connection to the Club and his years of support were both inspiring and affirming—it’s proof of the impact that happens when commitment meets community need.

Access to Fresh was proud to be part of the celebration by sponsoring a fresh fruit and vegetable salad bar—because nothing says “cheers to the next 10 years” like nourishing our youth with the good stuff!

Moments like these remind me why we do what we do: bringing people together around healthy food, and building the kind of resilience that lasts well beyond the celebration.

Here’s to the next decade of the Boys & Girls Club making a difference—and to all of us continuing to invest in the health, hope, and potential of our community. 💚
